
Prince Adeyoju presided over the wedding ceremony in honour of a prominent APC chieftain and former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Elder Adegboyega Mathew Abioye, who is the father of the bride.
The colourful and glamorous ceremony, held at the Chapel of the Resurrection, University of Ìbàdàn attracted dignitaries from all walks of life including political and religious leaders, family members, friends, and other notable personalities—the crème de la crème of Oyo State and beyond.
Delivering his address as Chairman of the occasion, Prince Adeyoju SDM admonished the newlyweds to make patience, calmness, and peaceful conflict resolution the bedrock of their union, stressing that disagreements are inevitable but must be managed with wisdom and understanding.
He noted that marriage brings together two individuals from different backgrounds, ideologies, and orientations, emphasizing that mutual understanding takes time and deliberate effort.
According to him, constant and honest communication remains a critical tool for sustaining love, harmony, and mutual respect in marriage.
Prince Adeyoju further called on parents of the couple, well-wishers, and members of the congregation to continually pray for peace, unity, prosperity, oneness, and fruits of the womb for the new family.
He concluded by committing the couple into the hands of God, praying that the Almighty would guide, guard, and strengthen them as they begin their new life together in holy matrimony.
Among the prominent personalities that graced the occasion were Senator Abdulfatai Buhari representing Oyo North senatorial district, Hon. Remi Oseni that represents Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Hon. Abideen Adeoye that represents Ogo Oluwa/Surulere State Constituency, Hon. Abideen Adeoye, Chairman Ogo Oluwa Local Government, Hon. Oluseun Ojo, Chairman Oyo State Housing Corporation, Hon. Kamil Ademola Omotosho and Chairman Oyo NUJ council, Comrade Akeem Abas
Others were former Speakers of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olagunju Ojo and Asimiyu Alarape with some former state Assembly lawmakers, Alhaji Teslim Aderibigbe Omilabu Ghandi, Engineer Adewale Adeoye, Elder David Oluokun. political stalwarts from different political parties, family and friends from within and outside the country attended the ceremony.
