As schools resume for a new academic session, Hon. Sunday Babatunde has extended a warm welcome to pupils and students, urging all stakeholders in the education sector to recommit themselves to excellence, discipline, and responsibility.

Hon. Babatunde emphasized the critical role of parents in shaping the future of their children, admonishing them to take full charge of their parental duties. According to him, moral upbringing, proper guidance, and active involvement in their children’s academic lives remain the foundation for building a responsible and productive society.

He further charged teachers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, and integrity in the discharge of their duties. He noted that teachers are not only educators but also role models whose conduct significantly influences the character and performance of learners.

Addressing students and pupils, Hon. Babatunde encouraged them to take their studies seriously, remain focused, and cultivate the habit of punctuality. He stressed that discipline, hard work, and consistency are key ingredients for academic success and future leadership.

“Education remains the bedrock of sustainable development. Every parent, teacher, and learner must play their part to ensure a brighter future for our society,” he stated.

Hon. Babatunde reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that will enhance the quality of education and promote a conducive learning environment for all.

This statement was made public by the Director of Strategic, Media and Publicity to Hon. Sunday Babatunde, Kehinde Gbadeyanka.
