The National Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, has extended his warmest congratulations to Christian faithful in Nigeria and across the globe on the occasion of Easter celebration.
Speaking through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim, Ambassador Arapaja commended believers for the successful completion of the forty-day Lenten season. He urged them to internalize the lessons of the period, upholding the virtues of sacrifice, love, unity, and compassion as exemplified by the life of Jesus Christ.
Ambassador Arapaja further extended special Easter greetings to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde. He lauded the Governor for the sustained “good governance” and developmental strides witnessed in Oyo State throughout the nearly seven years of his visionary administration.
While addressing the state of the nation, Arapaja urged Nigerians not to lose hope despite the current socio-economic and security challenges bedeviling the country under the APC-led government.
He called on citizens to remain resilient and stay prepared to exercise their democratic rights against poor governance in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
”The spirit of Easter is one of hope and renewal,” Arapaja stated. “Let us carry that hope forward to build a better Nigeria.”
