He noted that women remain vital pillars of development, urging women in Nigeria, particularly in Oyo State, to seize the opportunity of the occasion to further reposition themselves and participate actively in nation-building through politics, education, the economy, and other sectors of national development.

Hon. Babatunde emphasized that the efforts and sacrifices of women in shaping society can not be overstated, adding that their contributions deserve greater recognition and appreciation.

He also encouraged women to continue to uphold their noble parental responsibilities by nurturing and guiding their children with strong moral values so they can grow to become responsible and productive members of society.

Furthermore, he urged women to remain supportive partners to their spouses and continue to play their unique roles in building strong families and communities.

According to him, “a home without a woman is like an empty house,” stressing that women remain the backbone of every stable and progressive society.
