In a move that has sparked excitement across Ibadan South West Constituency 2 renowned philanthropist and business mogul, Abeeb Idowu Balogun, has officially signified his intention to contest for the State House of Assembly seat in the 2027 general elections.

The Chairman and CEO of ABNIM Travels & Tours Ltd, who also holds the prestigious title of Aare Borokinni of Ifoland, is entering the political fray with a formidable track record of private service.

Despite having never held an elective position, Balogun—popularly known as AIB— has consistently deployed his personal resources to uplift the less privileged, earning him a reputation as a compassionate and accessible leader.
