he Lawmaker representing the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Oyo, Hon. (Prince) Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu has congratulated the people of his constituency as they joined other Nigerians and the world at large to celebrate the New Year 2026.
In a congratulatory statement issued on behalf of the Lawmaker by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Oyedapo Oyewole, Hon. Lafi extended his warmest greetings to every family, community stakeholder, religious and political leaders across the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency.
We thank God that we are alive to witness the new year 2026 with our loved ones! 2026 is a year of fresh possibilities, collective progress, and purposeful leadership.
As a Lawmaker, my commitment has always been clear: to make the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency the best place to live in the state.
This vision continues to guide my actions and service to my constituents.
I have consistently demonstrated that leadership is about service, not position. I have taken several steps to improve the quality of lives of my constituents in so many ways.
In this new year, I have resolved to double my effort to attract more federal projects, champion youth empowerment, strengthen infrastructure, and ensure inclusive development for every community in my constituency.
