Born on 10th November 1958 in Kudeti/Idi Arere, Ibadan, Ambassador Arapaja rose from humble beginnings to become a statesman of international repute. Educated in Ibadan and the United Kingdom, he bagged a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance & Marketing) from the University of Wales, Cardiff.

✅ Local Government: Twice elected Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government.
✅ National Assembly: Federal House of Representatives (2003–2007) – Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Transport & Leader of Oyo State Caucus.
✅ State Leadership: Deputy Governor of Oyo State (2007–2011) – celebrated for loyalty, stability, and commitment.
✅ Diplomatic Service: Ambassador to Jordan & Iraq (2012–2015) – achieved direct flights between Nigeria & Jordan, bilateral economic agreements, and served as Dean of African Ambassadors.
✅ Party Leadership: Former PDP South West Zonal Chairman and now Deputy National Chairman (South), PDP – a bridge-builder within the party and beyond.
