The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde’s commitment to the progress and development of the Party in the South west region and Nigeria as a whole.
Ambassador Arapaja gave the commendation during the comissioning of the PDP South west secretariat built and donated by Governor Seyi Makinde in honour of late Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo who was until his death the Vice Chairman (South-West) of the Party.
In a statement personally issued by Ambassador Arapaja but made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim, Arapaja observed that the building ranked as one of the best Party secretariats in Nigeria. He therefore lauded Governor Makinde’s decision to immortalise the late Olasoji Adagunodo by naming the Secretariat after late icon.
Arapaja, who described the building complex as a welcome development, congratulated the Party in the South west and Nigeria as a whole for this project which he said would serve as a morale booster for members of the Party.
Ambassador Arapaja equally appreciated the presence of the Osun state Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, PDP Acting National Chairman, Amb. Damagum and other National Working Committee members that graced the occasion.
