It was indeed another joyous moment for the Chairman Oyo Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige today as he received double awards in recognition of his selfless service to the society.
The first award was bestowed on him by the Al-Imam Agbotomokekere Islamic Foundation in recognition of his dedicated service to the growth and development of Islam and humanity.
The said award was presented to him during the celebration of this year’s Maulud Nabiyy and unveiling of the proposed Agbotomokekere mosque held at Ibadan Central Mosque, Oja-ba, Ibadan.
The second award was equally bestowed on him by the Ladoke. Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso in recognition of his pragmatic services as an Alumnus of the institution.
In his responses, the elated hon. Akeem Ademola Ige who is the Baameto. Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland expressed his happiness that he was recognized for his various humanitarian services and the growth of Islam in the society.
Hon. Ige who appreciated the two groups for founding him worthy for the awards, promised not to relent in his efforts at making positive impacts in the society and humanity at large.
He thereafter dedicated the said awards to the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for the opportunity he gave him to serve in his government.
