During this period, he was concurrently accredited as Ambassador to Iraq, a rare and prestigious dual appointment. His ambassadorship was a resounding success, as he fostered strong bilateral ties between Nigeria and these Middle Eastern nations, advancing Nigeria’s interests abroad and promoting diplomacy.
