FMDQ data at the close of Friday showed that the Naira exchanged at N1400.40 per Dollar from N1402.67, which it traded on Thursday. Operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arrested 20 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Sapele, Delta State, on Friday. The commission made this known in a statement on its X page on Friday. It said the suspects were arrested following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in computer-related fraud. Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have arrested a man over alleged sexual assault on his infant stepdaughter Thirty-year-old Idi Adamu allegedly assaulted his one-year-old stepchild sexually. In a statement on Friday, the Command said that Adamu was arrested on Wednesday, following a complaint by the baby’s mother who happens to be his wife. The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation has blamed the lingering fuel scarcity in the country on panic buying and sharp practices by some petroleum marketers who are exploiting the present situation to make more money.
