The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has expressed his condolence over the death of the former Secretary Secretary of Oyo State, Chief Michael Koleosho.
In a condolence statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday by Ambassador Arapaja through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim, he described chief Michael Koleosho’s death as a monumental and significant loss to the entire state.
Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja said that late Koleosho who was the Babalaje of Sakiland was a dedicated leader and elder statesman worked tirelessly for the progress and development of Oyo State, adding his contributions to political landscape would not be forgotten.
“As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate his life and the indelible mark he left on the political landscape of Oyo State.
“Chief Michael Koleosho was a man of integrity, whose vision for a better Oyo State was evident in his relentless pursuit of progress for the state.
“His legacy will continue to inspire the next generation of leaders within the state and beyond,” Arapaja said.
Ambassador Arapaja extended heartfelt condolences to the late Koleosho’ s family in Saki and entire Oke Ogun land, friends, political associates, and the Oyo State government under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde.
He prayed to God Almighty for the reposed of the soul of the deceased and to grant all he left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.
