Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja a prominent Oyo State gubernatorial hopeful, has extended his warmest congratulations to the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdulganiyy Agbotomokekere, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today.
In a statement released on Monday through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim and made available to journalists, the former Deputy Governor of Oyo State described the revered cleric as a beacon of peace and a pillar of spiritual guidance.
Ambassador Arapaja lauded the Chief Imam for his unwavering dedication to the tenets of Islam, noting that his leadership has been characterized by humility and wisdom.
“Sheikh Agbotomokekere is a peace-loving personality who has consistently lived his life as a reflection of true Islamic values.
“His remarkable tolerance toward adherents of other faiths has played a significant role in fostering the religious harmony we enjoy in Oyo State.” Arapaja stated.
The gubernatorial hopeful further commended the Chief Imam’s contributions to the social and spiritual fabric of Ibadanland.
