
The Honourable Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Prof. Dahud Kehinde Shangodoyin, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Oyo State and beyond on the successful completion of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
In his Eid message, Prof. Shangodoyin expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the faithful the opportunity to witness and complete the holy month of fasting, prayers, and spiritual renewal. He prayed that Allah accepts all acts of worship and forgives shortcomings.

He urged Muslims to remain steadfast in the virtues cultivated during Ramadan, including patience (sabr), piety (taqwā), sacrifice, and compassion, noting that these values are essential for personal growth and societal harmony.
The Commissioner also called on Muslims to continue to pray for lasting peace, unity, and progress in the state and the nation at large, emphasizing the importance of peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among all citizens.

He further prayed that Allah grants everyone the grace to witness many more Ramadans in good health and abundance, and to be counted among those who attain eternal blessings in Jannatul Firdaus.
“Taqabbalallāhu minnā wa minkum. Eid Mubarak to all Muslims in Oyo State and beyond,” he stated.
