The Chairmanship hopeful of Ibadan South East Local Government and former Executive Secretary, Hon. (Engr.) Sunday Babatunde, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Oyo State and within the council area on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement released through his Director of Strategic Media and Publicity, Kehinde Gbadeyanka, Hon. Babatunde described the period as a time of spiritual rebirth, renewal, and purification from sins.

He emphasized that the teachings and lessons of Ramadan—such as discipline, sacrifice, love, and compassion—should not be discarded but sustained in the daily lives of the faithful. According to him, these virtues should also positively reflect in their interactions with others, irrespective of religious differences.
Hon. Babatunde expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting Muslim faithful the grace to complete the fast successfully. He urged them to continue offering fervent prayers for the peace, unity, and progress of Nigeria, as well as for leaders at all levels of governance.

He further prayed that Allah grants all Muslim faithful the opportunity to witness many more Ramadan seasons in good health, sound mind, and long life.
