The Lawmaker who represents the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal constituency, Oyo, Hon. Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu has extended warm congratulations to the people in his constituency as they joined other Muslim Ummah to celebrate the 2026 Eid-il-Fitri which signified the completion of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement released through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Alimi Abdullahi Ajofeyinbo and made available to journalists in Ibadan, the Lawmaker praised the resilience and spiritual dedication of the faithful. He urged them to utilize the significant occasion of the Eid prayers to intercede for the nation, asking for divine intervention to overcome its current socio-economic challenges.
“The lessons of Ramadan—piety, self-discipline, and sacrifice—must extend beyond this holy month,” Lafi stated. “I encourage everyone to continue manifesting love, charity, and peaceful coexistence in our daily lives.”
Furthermore, Hon. Akinmoyede Olafisoye solicited special prayers and continued cooperation for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR led administration.
Lafi who noted that he has remained committed to ensuring quality representation and sustainable development of his constituents, solicited their support which he described as vital for the continued progress of his constituency.
He concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyful and peaceful celebration, praying that the blessings of the season bring lasting harmony to Nigeria.
