As the political landscape begins to shift ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. OluwaFeyisayo Oladiipo, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oluyole Local Government and a former aide to the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, has issued a passionate plea for internal reconciliation and unity within the party.
In a statement she issued and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Hon. Oladiipo noted that while individual “strands” or factions are easily broken by the opposition, a unified party acts as an unbreakable cord.

According to the statement, “our strength in Oyo State has never been in our individual names, but in our collective resolve,” Oladiipo stated.
“As someone who served under the ‘Koseleri’ himself, I saw firsthand how a disciplined and united front transformed this state. We owe it to the memory of Senator Abiola Ajimobi and to our constituents to return to that era of brotherhood.”

Hon. Oladiipo emphasized that the road to reclaiming the Agodi Government House and securing a clean sweep of the State and National Assembly seats depends entirely on the party’s ability to “sheath its swords” now.
“We cannot afford the luxury of division. From the hills of Oke-Ogun to the plains of Ibarapa, every member is a vital thread. When we weave these threads together, victory in 2027 is not just a hope—it is an inevitability,” she added.

Oladiipo concluded by calling on all stakeholders, party elders, and the youth wing to prioritize the party’s collective success over personal grievances, urging a “Big Tent” approach to ensure the APC returns to its rightful place as the leading political force in Oyo State.
