A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogo Oluwa Local Government area, Hon. Elder Adegboyega Mathew Abioye has expressed his readiness to give absolute support for the aspiration of Adesoji Michael Adedeji to represent the Ogo Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency in the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Elder Abioye who had represented the Ogo Oluwa/Surulere State Constituency for two consecutive terms between 2007 to 2015 stated that his decision to support Adesoji Adedeji was necessary for the good people of the said federal constituency.

Elder Abioye noted that while he had made up his mind not to contest for the House of Representatives’ election in 2027, it is necessary to support someone who has the requisite knowledge and capacity to drive home quality representation and facilitate projects that will bring development to the Ogo Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency.

He hinted that Adedeji popularly called “Iba Agba” is recognized for his commitment and tenacity to deliver to the people the dividends of democracy. “I can categorically state that Adesoji Michael Adedeji is capable and competent to give us quality and effective representation in Ogo Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency.

I’m saying this not because he is a blood brother to the Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) who is from this constituency but we have to rally round someone with a track record of humility, competence and good pedigree.” He said.
