The Chairman of Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has expressed his condolences to the family and people of Ibadan South East Local Government following the passing of a former member of the Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon. AbdulRazaq Ademola Abdullahi (a.k.a. Omo Sheu) who died yesterday after a brief illness.
In a condolence statement personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Hon. Ige who described the deceased as a great Islamic Scholar that lived an exemplary life, noted that the late Legislator offered quality representation and impacted many lives during his tenure as a lawmaker that represented the Ibadan South East constituency 1 between 2019 and 2023.

“Though his passing has left a significant void within the PDP in Ibadan South East Local Government and Oyo State as a whole, God knows the reason why he allowed death to take him away at this point in time.
I offer my condolences to his family, the Muslim community, PDP family, members of the Oyo State House of Assembly as well as to the government of Oyo State over the demise of the departed parliamentarian.” He said.

Hon. Ige who is a former Minority Leader of the 8th Oyo House of Assembly prayed for the repose of the soul of the late lawmaker and for divine comfort for his family and PDP family he left behind.
