The Lawmaker representing the Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, Oyo, Hon. Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu has commiserated with the family and political associates of one of the leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagelu Local Government area, Sir Abiodun Amoo whose death occurred after a brief illness.

Hon. Akinmoyede’s condolence message was contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan.

The lawmaker described the late political leader’s death as a very painful and personal loss to him, adding that he was a pillar of support to his recent political sojourn.

The Lawmaker popularly known as Lafi further described Elder Amoo as a visionary leader whose legacy continues to shape the political and developmental trajectory of the local government.

He described the deceased as a father figure and unifying force within the APC, whose wisdom and guidance left a lasting impact on the party and its members.

Late Elder Abiodun Amoo was the chairman of Accord Party in Lagelu Local Government between 2010-2014. He also served as Chairman of Lagelu APC zoning committee in 2022 and had served in several other capacities before his death.

Similarly, Hon. Lafi equally mourned the death of the Vice- Chairman of APC in ward 11 Akinyele local government, Mr Akeem Adeyemi who died yesterday.

He prayed for the repose of their souls and strength for their families, political associates and the entire members of APC in the Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency.
