The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government area, Hon. Kamoru Mudashiru, the Chairman Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige were among other dignitaries and government officials that were present as one of the leading estate developers, Riverside Estate, Iyana Offa marked a major milestone as it unveiled its Estate to the public with allottees taking on site tour to inspect and take physical ownership of their allotted plots.

The rationale behind the event is to reaffirm the public-private commitment to supporting real estate projects that contribute to development and growth within Oyo State in terms of infrastructural development.

Receiving the guests the Chief Developer of Riverside Estate, Amb. Sangodoyin Ibrahim Damilare, who led a comprehensive walkthrough of the estate project highlighted ongoing infrastructure development within the estate.

While expatiating the milestones achieved so far, including; full acquisition of the estate land with a Certificate of Occupancy; official government approval of the estate layout; completion of phase one site clearing and access roads; commencement of perimeter fencing and electrical pole installation; launch of the first stage of housing development; and installation of billboards and early investor engagement, Ogundoyin hinted that recreational park and housing development are also in the pipeline.

“This is more than land. It is a vision of sustainable urban living, designed to deliver real value,” Amb. Sangodoyin emphasized.

The tour served as a reassuring moment for allottees, many of whom expressed satisfaction with the pace and direction of development.

In their separate remarks, Hon. Mudashiru Kamoru Morenikeji and Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige lauded the vision of the developer and level of progress within the estate.

Hon. Mudashiru pledged government support to fast-track the estate’s development.

He assured that the local authority would extend electricity and improve the road leading to the estate by next year — an intervention aimed at accelerating urban growth and positioning Riverside Estate, Iyana Offa as a model for modern residential living within the next five years.

Also speaking in the same vein, the Chairman of the Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon.Akeem Ige commended the developer, Amb. Sangodoyin Ibrahim for the clarity of his vision and the impressive pace of development at the site.

While acknowledging the positive impact of the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on statewide infrastructure improvements, Ige praised the administration’s role in enabling infrastructural development.

He equally appreciated the efforts of the Lagelu LGA Chairman, Hon. Mudashiru Kamoru described his leadership as “exemplary”, and encouraged him to continue his good work for the benefit of the council and her people.

For allottees, the tour served as a moment of reassurance and excitement, as they witnessed firsthand the tangible progress on their investments. With a growing investor base and strategic public support, Riverside Estate is rapidly emerging as a symbol of intentional community-building and sustainable urban expansion in Oyo State.
