Hon. Alatishe Dolapo Ganiyu has officially picked the nomination form under the People’s Democratic Party to contest for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan South East Constituency I, ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking with newsmen in Ibadan on Saturday, Hon. Alatishe described his decision as a “Renaissance of Hope” for the people of Ibadan South East Constituency I, stressing that the PDP remains the only credible alternative capable of ending poor representation and restoring purposeful leadership.
While responding to questions from journalists, Hon. Alatishe assured constituents of quality representation anchored on inclusiveness, youth empowerment, and people-oriented governance. He pledged to provide constituents with the necessary tools and opportunities that would improve their socio-economic wellbeing.
The assembly hopeful further stated that Ibadan South East deserves a representative with sound knowledge, proven capacity, and genuine commitment to the welfare of the people. He emphasized his readiness to serve diligently, citing his pedigree, experience, and longstanding dedication to community development.
Hon. Alatishe also commended Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja for his sportsmanship, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the growth of the party. He equally appreciated party leaders and stakeholders across Ibadan South East Local Government for their continuous support and encouragement toward his aspiration
