The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, has extended warm congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the 2026 Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri.
In a statement released through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Ambassador Arapaja praised the resilience and spiritual dedication of the faithful. He urged Nigerians to utilize the significant occasion of the Eid prayers to intercede for the nation, asking for divine intervention to overcome its current socio-economic challenges.

“The lessons of Ramadan—piety, self-discipline, and sacrifice—must extend beyond this holy month,” Arapaja stated. “I encourage everyone to continue manifesting love, charity, and peaceful coexistence in our daily lives.”
Furthermore, the PDP National Secretary solicited special prayers and continued cooperation for the Oyo State Government. He noted that the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde remains committed to sustainable development, emphasizing that the support of the people is vital for the state’s continued progress.

He concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyful and peaceful celebration, praying that the blessings of the season bring lasting harmony to Nigeria.
