The Lawmaker representing the Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, Oyo, Hon. Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu has felicitated both Muslims and Christian faithfuls in his constituency as they joined their counterparts across the globe to commence the year 2026 Ramadan and lent fasting exercises.
In a felicitation message issued by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Alimi Abdullahi Ajofeyinbo on behalf of the lawmaker, he described these periods of fasting as a sacred season of reflection, sacrifice, discipline, and renewed devotion to Almighty God.
I want to most sincerely congratulate all the political leaders, traditional rulers, community stakeholders, religious leaders and indeed all the good people of Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency as they join their counterparts in Oyo State, Nigeria and all over the world on the commencement of this year Ramadan and Lenten spiritual exercises which begin simultaneously.
I charge you all to let this period strengthen the bonds of unity among one another, promote peaceful coexistence, and deepen our shared commitment to the progress and development of our constituency, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
Hon. Akinmoyede who assured his constituents of more economic relief, praying Almighty Allah to accept individual fasting, prayers, acts of charity, forgive their shortcomings and reward their sacrifices abundantly.
