The National Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated renowned politician and Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today.
In a statement issued by Ambassador Arapaja Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Arapaja described the celebrant, Ige as an outstanding politician, astute administrator and committed public servant whose contributions to the growth and development of the grassroot and the state at large remain widely acknowledged and deeply appreciated.
He said that the celebrant’s exemplary career as a consummate politician had earned him respect within the political space and the general public.
Arapaja also lauded Ige who is currently the Chairman of the Local Government Staff Pension Board for his leadership qualities and selfless service to humanity, particularly his positive influence on the payment of the backlog of gratuities and death benefits that Governor Seyi Makinde administration met on ground.
He wished the celebrant good health, renewed strength and many more fruitful years, praying that his wealth of experience would continue to benefit the state and the nation at large.
