The Lawmaker representing the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Oyo Hon. (Prince) Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu has felicitated with the Christian faithfuls in his federal constituency, Oyo state and Nigeria as they joined their counterparts to celebrate the year 2025 Christmas festival.
In a statement issued by the Lawmaker’s Special Assistant on Media, Alimi Abdullahi Ajofeebo, he described the Christmas season as a period for sober reflection on the life of Jesus Christ and God’s faithfulness in humanity.
Hon. Lafi stressed further that the essence of celebrating Christmas is to remember the exemplary life which Jesus Christ lived that was full of compassion, humility, forgiveness, and genuine love for all mankind, calling on them to emulate such virtues in their dealings with their fellow human beings.
Hon. Lafi who enjoined the people to celebrate with modesty and extend love to others in their community, equally
called on all residents to continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of the state and Nigeria as a whole.
He also called for continued peaceful coexistence among all religious beliefs.
