The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has been described as a grassroots politician and dedicated public servant worthy of being emulated.
A former aspirant for the House of Assembly in Ibadan South East Constituency 1 under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Abimbola Oladimeji (Owonifaari) stated this in a birthday congratulatory statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan.
Hon. Oladimeji who is the Chief Executive Officer of Owonifaari Foundation equally used the opportunity to congratulate Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on his nomination as the National Secretary of the party ahead of the party’s national convention slated for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan.
The PDP stalwart in Ibadan South East Local Government stressed that Ambassador Arapaja truly deserves his elevation to the National Secretary position because he has consistently demonstrated strong commitment to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria through his leadership, humility, and people-oriented service.
The CEO Owonifaari Foundation commended the celebrant for his impactful contributions as a one time council chairman, federal legislator, former Deputy Governor, Nigeria Ambassador up till his present position as PDP Deputy National Chairman of the Southern part of the country, praising his continued role in advancing the affairs of the party and the support he has been given to Governor Seyi Makinde led administration in Oyo State.
“Ambassador Arapaja’s life reflects discipline, focus, and an uncommon passion for service delivery, especially in mentoring the younger ones to achieve their aims in politics and other fields of endeavours.” He said.
He added that the celebrant’s loyalty to progressive ideals, and commitment to national development remain exemplary.
Owonifaari prayed that Almighty God grants Ambassador Arapaja long life, sound health, and greater strength to continue contributing to the development of humanity and the upliftment of the nation.
He wished him a joyous birthday celebration filled with peace, and renewed strength to carry out his duties as the National Secretary of the most populous political party in West Africa, PDP, to serve Oyo State and the country more.
