Arapaja Pays Royal Homage to Olubadan-Designate, Oba Ladoja

The Deputy national Chairman, (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja today paid a royal visit to the Olubadan designate, Oba Senator Rashidi Ladoja at his Bodija private residence, Ibadan.

Arapaja during the visit disclosed that the monarch is someone with rich pedigree, whose glorious attributes and esteemed personality in the political and traditional landscapes of Oyo State placed him in good stead to occupy the revered throne of his forebears.

Arapaja who was accompanied to the place by Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Modiu Akande, Engr. Sulaiman Adesina (World Best), Hon. Sunday Babatunde, Mogaji Abass Oloko and Mogaji Solagbade Arapaja stressed that the purpose of the visit is to congratulate him for being alive to mount the throne as the 44th Olubadan and paramount ruler of the most populated city in the West Africa- Ibadan.

“As a true son and in Ibadan, it is expedient of me to personally come and pay homage to our father, the former Governor of Oyo State and former distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and now by Divine Providence, the Olubadan designate. Kaabiyesi your ascension to this throne is historical and it gladdens my heart that against all odds God preserves your life to mount the throne.

I pray that the Almighty Allah grants you unparalleled wisdom and long life, peaceful and glorious reign. May Ibadan land continue to witness more development during your reign Kaabiyesi.Arapaja prayed.”

Mogaji Oladosu Demola and Prince Wale Asanike also accompanied Ambassador Arapaja on the visit.
